DIALLOG has signed a partnership contract with for the use of Wateen’s state-of-the-art Telecom Infrastructure including nationwide and metropolitan fiber optic cable networks and tele-housing facilities.

With the help of this partnership DIALLOG will expand its network further, to reach to more cities and villages with its quality wireless local loop services, including reliable voice and high-speed data connectivity.

Wateen Telecom is part of Wateen Telecom International LLC, an Abu Dhabi Group company led by His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan. Wateen is the leading "Carrier’s Carrier" in Pakistan providing quality, reliability and affordability in the communication sector bringing the next generation services at customers doorstep.

DIALLOG initiated global expansion in Pakistan in 2004 with an aim to provide the highest level of convenience and customer care along with affordable communication technology to the community.

At a ceremony held in Islamabad on the 11th of August, Wateen’s Chief Business Officer Tayyab Shafi stated that "by partnering with the leading telecom operators, Wateen by virtue of it 5,500 km fiber optic cable network across Pakistan will connect the entire nation and bring endless possibilities of communication to the people of Pakistan while being confident of bringing next generation technologies within the range of the common man".

On this occasion Chief Executive of DIALLOG, Artem Orange showed his appreciation and stated that "with the arrival of Wateen Telecom, the telecom industry finally has a second option for better communication, data, and tele-housing services, in addition to the existing fixed-line monopoly in Pakistan."

This agreement not only promises high quality and cutting-edge technologies through Wateen’s network but will also help DIALLOG increase its market share. Furthermore, it would enhance Wateen’s credibility as a carriers’ carrier. The existing association is likely to grow in the future whereby Wateen plans to extend its Satellite connectivity, International gateway, National fixed line and mobile transit, VNO and white labeled services to DIALLOG.

DIALLOG, a brand of Great Bear International Services (Pvt) Ltd, is currently operating a wireless local loop network in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Murree and Attock with over 50,000 satisfied subscribers on board. The company has been in operation since 2005 and has implemented CDMA technology in 450MHz frequency band (CDMA450). It currently is in plans to substantially expand its network across Pakistan.
