There are a few factors that come into play while a region is defined for coverage; the most important of them are topographic and meteorological conditions.
Lifts, tunnels, basements or other closed structures, and moving vehicles may adversely effect reception, while signals can be enhanced outside buildings and in open areas. Some weather conditions may also disturb communication link for a subscriber.
